¹In the beginning,	and toward* God,	and god*,

^10-11He was in man's world, and man's world came to be through him, but that world didn't get to know him; he came into his own, but these, his own, didn't take him in. ^12-13Moreover, as many as those believing in his name received him, he gave authority to become God's children, born, not from blood, nor from canal will, nor from a man's will, but from God. ¹⁴So the Enunciation came to be flesh, and he dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, a glory such as an only-child beside a father* has, full of grace and truth.
