¹Forasmuch-as many they-undertook to-compile narrative about the they-having-been-accomplished in/among us acts ²just-as they-handed-over to-us those from beginning eyewitnesses and servants they-having-come-to-be of-the enunciation ³it-seemed also-to-me me-having-pursued from-above all thoroughly sequentially to-you to-write most-excellent Theophile ⁴that you-would-recognise about which you-have-been-informed of-enunciations the sureness

⁵It-came-to-be in/among the days/years of-Herodes (the*) king of-the Yehudah priest some to-name Zakar'yah out of-shift of-Ab'yah and (the*) woman of-him out of-the daughters of-Aaron and the name of-her Eli'shabat ⁶they-were-being moreover righteous both [in-eyes / before] of-the god they-going-about-their-lives in/among all the commandments and righteous-judgements of-the master blamelessly ⁷and not it-was-being for-them child forasmuch-as she-was-being the Eli'shabat barren and both they-having-gotten-on in/among the days/years of-them they-were-being

⁸It-came-to-be moreover in/among at-the to-perform-sacred-duties him in/among the proceeding of-the shift of-him before the god ⁹according-to the custom of-the priesthood he-got-by-lot of-the to-offer-incense he-having-entered into the temple of-the master ¹⁰and all the multitude of-the people it-was praying outside at-the hour of-the incense ¹¹it-was-made-visible moreover to-him messenger of-master he-having-stood out of-right-side of-the altar of-the incense ¹²so was-agitated Zakar'yah he-catching-sight and fear it-fell upon him ¹³he-said moreover toward him the messenger not you-be-fearing Zakar'yah because it-was-given-attention the supplication of-you and the woman of-you Eli'shabat she-will-give-birth to-son at-you and you-will-call the name of-him Yeho'hanan ¹⁴and it-shall-be joy at-you and jubilation and many upon/over the birth of-him they-will-be-rejoiced ¹⁵he-shall-be for great in-sight of-the master and wine and alcohol not no he-should-drink and of-spirit holy he-will-be-filled still out of-womb of-mother of-him ¹⁶And many of-the sons of-Yishra'el he-will-turn-back upon/over to-master the god of-them ¹⁷and him he-will-go-ahead in-sight of-him in/among spirit and power of-El'yah to-turn-around/back hearts of-fathers upon/over to-children and incredulous-ones in/among thoughtfulness of-righteous-ones to-make-ready for-master people it-having-been-equipped. ¹⁸and he-said Zakar'yah toward the messenger down-to what I-will-get-to-know that I for I-am-being old and the woman of-me she-having-gotten-on in/among the days/years of-her ¹⁹and he-answering the messenger he-said at-him I I-am-being Gabri'el the one-having-stood-beside in-sight of-the god and I-was-commissioned to-speak toward you and to-declare-good-messages at-you these. ²⁰and lo and behold! You-shall-be being-mute and not being-able to-speak until of-which day it-should-come-to-be these in-the-stead-of of-which not you-believed these enunciations of-me which they-will-be-fulfilled into to-the to-due-time of-them

²¹and it-was-being the people it-anticipating to-the Zakar'yah and they-were-wondering in/among at-the to-linger to-him in/among the at-temple ²²on-coming-out moreover not he-was-being-able to-speak to-them and they-recognised that vision he-had-seen in/among the temple and he he-was-being he-gesturing to-them and he-was-continuing mute ²and it-came-to-be as they-were-being-fulfilled the days of-the ministry of-him he-went-away to the house of-him ²⁴after moreover these the days conceived Eli'shabat the woman of-him and she-was-hiding herself to-months five she-saying ²⁵that thus to-me have-designed [the] master in/among days which regarded to-take-away [the] discredit of-me in/among humans

²⁶in/among moreover the month the sixth was-commissioned the messenger Gabri'el [by / from] the god into city of-the Galilaia to-which name Nazaret ²⁷toward virgin she-having-been-engaged at-male to-whom name Yoseph out of-house of-David and the name of-the virgin Mariam. ²⁸and he-entering (the messenger*)  toward her said rejoice she-having-been-graced the master with you (blessed you in/among women*). ²⁹she moreover (catching-sight*) she-was-startled upon/over the enunciation (his*) and she-was-pondering what-sort-of it-could-be the greeting this ³⁰and he-said the messenger to-her no you-be-fearing! mariam you-found for grace beside the god ³¹and lo-and-behold! you will conceive in/among at-womb and you-will-give-birth to-son and you-will-call the name his Jesus ³²this-one he-shall-be great and son of-the-most-high he-will-be-called and he-will-give at-him master the god the throne of-David the father of-him ³³and he-will-reign upon/over the house of-Jacob into the for-ever and of-the kingship of-him not there-shall-be end ³⁴she-said moreover Mariam toward the messenger how it-shall-be that since man not I-knowing  ³⁵and answering The Messenger said to-her Spirit Holy will-come-upon upon you and Power of-most-high will-overshadow you hence and The Being-Born (out of-you*) Holy will-be-called Son of-god. ³⁶And lo-and-behold! Eli'shabat The Kinswoman of-you and She has-conceived son in/among old-age of-her and (m)This month (m)Sixth is to-her (f)the (f)being-called (f)barren ³⁷because not will-be-impracticable beside the god All Utterance. ⁸said so Mariam lo-and-behold! The Servant-Girl of-master may-it-come-to-be to-me down-to the utterance of-you and went-away from her The Messenger

³⁹She-Arising then Mariam in/among the days these she-went-her-way into the mountainous-region with haste into city of-Y'hudah ⁴⁰and she-entered into the house of-Z'khar'yah and she-greeted the Eli'shabbat ⁴¹and it-came-to-be as she-heard the Eli'shabbat the greeting of-the Mariam it-leaped the baby in/among the womb of-her and she-was-filled of-spirit holy the Eli'shabbat ⁴²and she-exclaimed clamour great and she-said she-having-been-blessed you in/among women and he-having-been-blessed the fruit of womb of-you ⁴³and whence-from at-me this that she-would-come the mother of-the sovereign of-me toward me ⁴⁴lo-and-behold! for as it-came-to-be the voice of-the greeting of-you into the ears of me it-leaped in/among jubilation the baby in/among the womb of-me ⁴⁵And blissful the she-having-believed because it-shall-be accomplishment at-the they-having-been-spoken to-her beside master

⁴⁶And she-said Mariam it-magnifies the soul of-me the master ⁴⁷and it-jubilates the spirit of-me upon/over the god the saviour of-me ⁴⁸because he-looked upon/over the lowliness of-the servant-girl of-him lo-and-behold! for from the now-on they-will-count-blissful me all the generations ⁴⁹because he-designed at-me great-things the powerful-one and holy the name of-him ⁵⁰and the mercy of-him into generations [to generations / generations'] to-the fearing him
